Pre-production and planning

Shooting

Retouching and delivery

A Packshot pack (half-day studio, 8 to 12 references, white background, e-commerce retouching) starts at a modest budget. An Editorial pack (full day, model, art direction, 15 to 25 looks) is more substantial. We discuss it during the discovery call with a precise quote.
How long does it take to run a shoot from A to Z?
Our standard timeline:
- Brief and casting: 48 to 72h
- Pre-production: 3 to 5 days
- Shooting: 1 to 2 days
- Selection and retouching: 5 to 7 business days
From brief to final delivery: 2 weeks on average. For complex shoots (multiple locations, extended casting, large volume), plan for 3 to 4 weeks. For collection launches, we recommend briefing 4 to 6 weeks in advance.
Studio or on location for a fashion shoot?
The Bastille studio offers total control: mastered lighting, neutral or colored background depending on the art direction, a reproducible setting. Ideal for e-commerce packshots and lookbooks with a strong identity. On location brings real-life context and authenticity, ideal for lifestyle content and collection editorials. Our recommendation: combine both in a single shoot. Morning in the studio for packshots, afternoon on location for lifestyle looks.
What formats are delivered after a shoot?
Our standard delivery includes:
- High resolution (minimum 3000px) for print and e-commerce
- Formats optimized for each social network: 1:1 for the feed, 4:5 for Instagram portrait, 9:16 for Stories and Reels
- A retouched editorial version and an e-commerce version (white or transparent background for packshots)
Files are named and organized by look, by product reference and by format to make it easy to integrate into your CMS or DAM. Unretouched rushes available on request.
